If you are an intern with The MWE Partnership, you will gain a great deal of practical insurance agency experience that will prepare you for the Maryland state insurance sales licensing exam. You must complete a state-approved insurance pre-licensing course before being eligible for testing. MWE has a partnership with Enterprise Insurance Training that helps provide this service. Additionally, The MWE Partnership can provide you with real-world experience and trainings designed to broaden and deepen your knowledge of this complex industry. The pre-licensing period is an important step in your insurance career, and we would love to partner with you to help you achieve your goals.
Continuing Education Credits
Local insurance agents need continuing education credits to fulfill their requirements under Maryland state law and Washington, D.C. law. The MWE Partnership provides continuing education opportunities for our benefit brokers to ensure that all of our staff members have ample time to meet continuing education requirements before their license’s expiration date. MWE has a partnership with Enterprise Insurance Training that helps provide this service to the agents and brokers that work with us. Continuing education is a particularly important part of what our employees do every day, as the insurance industry is constantly changing. Without regular trainings and meetings to understand the practical effects of these changes, you will not be able to accurately and properly offer our group insurance products and individual insurance products to our businesses.
